Position Description: Make a difference to the homeless dogs of Gladstone and surrounds by helping us provide them with a safe, comfortable environment whilst they wait for a loving new home. Volunteers will aid with cuddling, playing, and feeding of Centre Dogs/Puppies as well as various cleaning (disinfecting kennels, laundry). Training is provided.
Position Location: Gladstone
Required Skills / Experience: Animal confidence, the ability to work independently & follow quarantine protocol.
Gained Skills / Experience: Animal handling and training techniques, animal disease control, animal shelter experience, experience with many different breeds of dogs.
