Position Description: This rewarding volunteer role involves travelling to and helping organise various events in the region collecting donations and meeting local community members as a representative of the RSPCA. This position would suit any applicant passionate about promoting animal welfare in their local community, those wishing to feel a part of a thriving fundraising group, and those looking for an opportunity to make a difference in animal's lives. The position itself involves participating in charity fundraising events such as raffles, sausage sizzles, and merchandise stalls. Limited training required and very flexible shifts.
Position Location: Gladstone
Required Skills / Experience: Good people skills, the ability to work both independently and as a team. Money handling skills advantageous.
Gained Skills / Experience: Community fundraising techniques, basic accounting, teamwork. The potential to gain management skills is also a possibility. This role can lead to a coordinator role i.e. Fundraising Coordinator.
