Position Description: Research suitable grants and funding opportunities for WIN. Write funding proposals with the help of the WIN management committee and program coordinator. Keep up to date with grant and funding programs' news. • Identifying grants that WIN may be eligible to apply for • Preparing funding applications/grant applications • Keeping a record of successful and unsuccessful grants. • Keeping a record of deadlines for grant applications • Asking for feedback on unsuccessful funding applications • Identifying and develop the skills of a successor
Position Location: Gladstone
Required Skills / Experience: Good written and verbal communication skills. Good Computer skills. Good communication and organisational skills. Genuine interest in cultural diversity and the ability to communicate with people in a non-judgemental way across both genders and all ages. Grant writing training required
Gained Skills / Experience: Communication skills, local knowledge and social and professional networking.
