Position Description: Collecting plant propagation materials and tending plants in the nursery. Planting trees for re-vegetation. Some offsite work required.
Position Location: Gladstone
Required Skills / Experience: Good public relations skills, an interest in plants and the environment, and an eagerness to learn new skills.
Gained Skills / Experience: Training in plant propagation and conservation techniques.

Services Provided: Gladstone Tondoon Botanic Gardens is a regional botanic gardens maintaining a scientific collection from two main areas, that of the Port Curtis Region and Far North Queensland. The Gardens were officially opened in October 1988 and extensive development has continued since the opening, incorporating more than 1,500 species in cultivation.
