RSPCA Cat Foster Parent
Position Description: Foster parents are desperately needed by RSPCA. Foster parents provide temporary homes for animals until they are adopted (average time is between 1wks to 6wks) Anyone over the age of sixteen may become a foster parent, provided they have a secure environment for containing the animal; time to spend with your foster animals; and access to transport. Cats must be contained indoors. There is little to no out of pocket expenses as RSPCA supplies food & vet treatment for the animals. Gladstone council permits a foster cat in addition to your council approved animals so yes you can foster if you already have other pets. Please email for an information pack!
Position Location: Gladstone
Required Skills / Experience: Secure environment to keep cat indoors, i.e. screens on windows. Own animals must be healthy/happy. Ability to transport to vet/adoption centre if required.
