Events Coordinator

Marketing/PR, Fundraising & Events

Position Description: Organise and facilitate various social events in the community. Duties may include: liaise with other event managers, stakeholders and local councillors to gather all relevant information regarding each event, obtain relevant information from the Internet and other sources, participate in team meetings, help to promote WIN's programs and events, accurate record keeping, source funding and sponsorships, liaising with other WIN staff and the general public.

Position Location: Gladstone

Required Skills / Experience: Good communication and organisational skills. Previous event coordination experience preferred. Genuine interest in cultural diversity and the ability to communicate with people in a non-judgemental way across both genders and all ages.

Gained Skills / Experience: Communication skills, local knowledge and social and professional networking.
