State Emergency Services (SES) Volunteer
Emergency, Safety & Rescue
Position Description: SES Volunteers are a dedicated group of people drawn from all walks of life and contribute to their communities by offering emergency assistance. Roles undertaken can include: cyclone, flood & earthquake response, cliff/cave rescue, road accident rescue in specific country areas, air search observation, land search & rescue, storm damage mitigation, searching using tracker dogs and horses, using radio communications, call taking and data entry during operations. Roles are varied, and also include non operational roles such as administration, radio communications, planning and logistics.
Position Location: Rosedale
Required Skills / Experience: Be committed to attending training. Must be over 18 years of age.
Gained Skills / Experience: Nationally accredited training is provided in a variety of skills, at no cost to the volunteer.

- National Police Check
- Current Driver's License
Days & Times Available: Be on-call in the event of an emergency
